Call time 11 am not too bad for the shoot really . I had to wake up at 5 am because lack of organization :) Driving through the gates we would see a big victorian house but it did't look like Victorian houses in London, this one was a mansion with hell a lot of land. Anyways I got there with Sabina Emirt. Gosia B. and Stefano his assistant and filmmaker and model of course were already there.
on the entry you could smell old building mixed up with smell of red wine coming down from the wine cellar . It felt like my grandparents house used to be.
Stefano shown me house around , rooms were absolutely beautiful some were damaged some were renewed and brought to its glory. As you walked through the rooms and halls floor was squeaking awkwardly and felt as we were going to wake a Duke up sleeping below us. The house was full of antiques and really very few items was from nowadays manufactures (mostly kitchen stuff) .
Well location was amazing the story of the shoot was accordingly cool too. Lonely rich girl was about to go out for a Ball and we shoot her in boredom , fun, as she would spend her day preparing for the big night out. With so many beautiful spots of the mansion we manage to shoot the highlights of it. Sabina and Gosia done their jobs very well as always of coures :) How did it go Stefano ? well the results gonna show but I shot with him 3-4 times before and all that pictures are among my favorite ones.
With the hair . First look was sort of day simple , so I did reversed chignon with some wave down the neck . Second look was a pony tail with some pieces hacked away and it looked really harsh and brutal for delicate beauty of the model, I put some extension around her pony tail and cut extension (otherwise the agency would kill me for cutting her hair:) It was really think pony tail and really felt like a horse tail it was heavy yet with a strong statement into it. The 3rd look was just 3 hour look before the Ball hair rolled up and pined up close to the scalp with misty hair around temples(inspired by McQueen)
the final look was a big hair ready for a Ball, I used piece from my friend and client Olga Ankudinova.
It looked really High Fashion. I back brushed all the hair making a big loose chignon.The last look after party, you will have to wait to see it really.
